Main Kia Platform/Chassis Types (2025–2026)

E-GMP (Electric Global Modular Platform): A dedicated, flat-floor platform for electric vehicles (EVs) designed for high-performance, fast charging (400V/800V), and optimized interior space.

Models: EV6, EV9, EV3, EV4 (Sedan/Hatchback), EV2 (2026).

K-Series Platforms (Third Generation): A modular platform for subcompact (K1) to compact/mid-size (K2, K3) petrol and hybrid vehicles.

K1: Used for A-segment city cars and small crossovers (Kia Syros).

K2: Used for B-segment/compact cars (Rio, Stonic, Sonet, Seltos).
