Shock absorbers designed specifically for the Kia Stinger sports sedan are a high-tech suspension component. These shock absorbers, which feature electronic control damping (ECS), are often classified as part of the Electronic Control Suspension (ECS) system. The electronic damping system is equipped with an electromagnetic valve, which allows the onboard computer to adjust the suspension stiffness in real time (depending on the selected mode: Comfort, Sport, etc.). The adaptive system takes into account speed, road surface, and steering angle to ensure maximum stability. It is most commonly installed on versions with a 3.3L V6 Lambda II T-GDI engine but can also be found on the 2.0L/2.5L depending on the trim level (including the adaptive suspension package).
